Proverbs 18:24 A man of many companions may come to ruin,
but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.
I have had friends that I thought I would have for life but life tends to change that and people come and go. Don't get me wrong...I have many wonderful friends that bail me out of all kinds of sticky situations and stand beside me when the bullets start flying.
Reality tells me however that even if we surround ourselves with friends, in the end they may not be there. People change, people move and people die....
I have many friends but only one friend I can count on for life...I have a friend in Jesus, always at my side, never too busy, never failing to pick me up when I fall.
There is a friend who sticks closer than a brother...Christ Jesus my Lord and Savior......
